Left and Right require stereo output. Mono speakers or device settings may combine both channels. Testing your phone? Disconnect external audio. Testing an external speaker? Connect it and select it as your audio output.
The tool uses the output selected by the operating system. It cannot detect or switch physical speakers automatically.
